Any veterinarian registered with the Bangladesh Veterinary Council (BVC) may become a “Member of the College of Veterinary Surgeons (MCVS)” after passing the veterinary board examination (MCVS Examination) administered by the Bangladesh College of Veterinary Surgeons (BCVS). The MCVS examination is a computer-based MCQ test to evaluate the professional knowledge and competence of a veterinarian.

To enroll for the MCVS examination

• Watch out for the announcement of the next available examination window at the BCVS website (https://bcvsbd.org/) or BCVS Facebook page (https://web.facebook.com/bcvsbd)
• Make an online application at the MCVS Exam portal on the BCVS website (https://bcvsbd.org/board-examination/mcvs-exam/eligibility/)
• Make a payment of the examination fee
• You will receive an eligibility ID from BCVS to schedule your examination appointment at the Prometric Testing Center.
